Sophie Learmont creates small-batch ceramics from her studio starlingpots in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. With a background in architecture and design, she brings a love of texture and natural form to her handcrafted porcelain and stoneware pieces. Inspired by the natural world, Sophie carefully blends glazes and slips to create tactile, characterful work for homes, restaurants, shoots, and gifting. Every piece is unique — an intentional antidote to mass production — and made with care through a slow, hands-on process.
